Y2K night photography settings recipe
Night Y2K is either flash-lit digicam dumps or grainy high-ISO film walks — pick one lane per shoot. This recipe covers CCD flash first, then FN 1600 when you want Natura-style night grain instead.

Recipe Steps
**Step 1: Decide flash dump vs night film**
Flash dump → CPM35 or CCD 2000 with flash on. Moody night walk → FN 1600. Mixing both in one frame usually muddies the story.
**Step 2: For flash dumps: get close**
Subjects within a few meters, flash on, date stamp optional. Neon and club lights in the background sell the era.
**Step 3: For FN 1600: embrace grain**
Open FN 1600, flash off, walk city streets or concerts. Let high-ISO grain carry atmosphere; do not fight noise reduction.
**Step 4: Hold still or lean on supports**
Night film needs steadier hands. Brace elbows; accept motion blur as part of the look when it happens.
**Step 5: Curate a night set**
Save everything, then pick frames with readable faces or strong light sources. Night dumps live or die on selection.
Settings Notes
CCD path: flash + optional stamp. FN 1600 path: no flash, grain forward. H Glow can add dreamy leaks for night walks but keep it light.
